Fly couple, no?
She’s got great boots, he’s notched his suit up with wide legged trousers. They have a similar color sense and idea of layering, but she’s a bit more chic, he’s a bit more avant garde.
This is actually one of the very few fashion-couple photographs I’ve loved; sometimes it seems too full of effort, or just very similar. These are compatible, but full of separate personalities.

New rom-com with Lee Min-Ki coming out!

Which of course will not be available illegally online for another year or so after it does come out, but whatever.

The story is of a couple who work together, so they have this secret forbidden romance thing going on to keep the spark alive, but they also seem to try and keep things exciting by constantly breaking up and getting back together.

Of course, this means office dress, though they look like common office-workers, so no chaebol extravagance of three-piece suits. Looks like a casual tone, since the emotions will be intense. Also, the co-stars are practically anagrams: Lee Min-Ki and Kim Min-Hee. DESTINY.

I’m feeling a bit under the weather today and haven’t got my queue together—sorry about that!
But meanwhile, here’s a *gorgeous* blog of people in smart coats curated by Burberry, photos by fashion photographers out on the street, The Sartorialist-style.
Go have a browse-about! Some of the outfits with these coats are amazing…
essarte, I had this in my folder, but hadn’t queued it yet—so it’s kinda in your honor!
Yoon Eun-Hye had a fun fusion of work clothes and more casual-looking pieces for her character in Lie To Me. Her clothes outside of her workplace were sadly not as awesome…
She looks amazing in the more sporty-version suit ensembles. Here her slacks have a sort of cargo-pants vibe, though they’re fitted slacks, because of the buckle. The zippers on her jacket also add to the fun fashion side on the chic shape.
She makes it look so pretty, and yet carefree. Yoon Eun-Hye, please be in another drama, but a really good one!
essarte asked:

Hey! May I request more hot women in suits? xD

Yes!

I don’t come across too many, but if I know other people are interested, I’ll definitely keep it in mind and search more actively…

There are some great dramas for women in suits, but my own screencaps aren’t good enough quality…

Thanks for letting me know you wanna see more!

Kang Min Kyung by Kim Youngjun for Singles Korea June 2012

This is adorable and awesome, as well as exactly the kind of mixed-media suit fashion I find the most exciting. The long-tailed jacket is in a print that makes it dressy, even as it’s a little trendy in shape. The shoes are whimsical, but also dressy. Girlish, but not twee.
And the shorts (or is it a skirt?) and blouse are simple, but interesting enough in the mix here to support the fresh feeling. I’d put the same thing on in a heartbeat.

This is so cute—a business woman’s suit shoot that gets the same kind of fun treatment as some of the chic young men’s shoots.

A vintage aviator theme indirectly calls on the idea of strong women in that age—Amelia Earhart, for example. The dramatic femme fatale make-up contrasts a little with that side of it, but also lends an old-Hollywood air.

Shin Se-Kyung has a very ingenue type face, but her expression isn’t coy at all, and she looks fantastic in what could have been a hot mess of elements.

Is he turning legal briefs into paper airplanes? This picture is so cute.
The pinkish undershirt makes this a modern look, though even his shoes are pretty traditional in shape. It looks great, and the photo concept juxtaposes the actually tight-laced appropriateness of the suit.

This is dapper and splashy, without being too wild to work for business—as long as the business isn’t against being FABULOUS.

(Some are, you know.)

The hat elevates it to fashion, though the wide-leg pant is doing most of the heavy lifting for that, so when indoors, with the jacket buttoned it could easily convert from street-style to chic but professional.

I LOVE that it’s a whole 3 piece. We need more of those in ladies’ fashion.

The simplicity of the suit’s cut and combination undercuts the bold color of the actual material.
Fantastic, classy look, utilizing the flashy feature inherent in the clothes to make it fashion: the color choice.

I love the clash of breezy and punk in this image.
(When I say punk, I really just mean what I consider hard-core, blatantly cool.)
The leather-pant look with black heels is dominatrix, and the top is the light blue denimed blouse with a white jacket, so spring-light. The bright blue nail polish actually hints that it’s no accident there is a little biker in the mix here.
And don’t get me started on the setting and composition of this photograph, I could just go on…
This is a great photograph, and a great shot of the clothes, so I imagine actually shooting it was a bit of a trick.
The lean trousers are just right under a longer suit jacket, both played up by the coat.
I don’t usually post models in clothes, but this was just such a fun picture, I had to.

Can I just say? That I am not objecting to the gorgeous, subtle colorwork coming into vogue for tattoos. At ALL.
And pairing with rolled up sleeves for a peekaboo effect, the way I’ve noted on many photos is totally dashing. Of course, this does come from the ties and tattoos blog. It’s a trend I like, that’s what I’m trying to say.

Bring on the ajussi bromance!

It looks like Lee Yong-Ju is a director, which would make this buddy-concept shoot one of an actor and director pairing. Cute!

I love the overall eclectic mix of these outfits, the remix of casual, workplace, and fashion that reflects behind the scenes on a film. Some are in costume, some are in their Saturday-morning clothes, and some are just being fabulous. Uhm Tae-woong, would you stop being such a scruffian whose also fabulous?

I was so sure this was T-drama actor Kingone when I first saw it. But no! Kim Kang Woo is a Korean actor who is just equally handsome.
For some reason, the fact that he looks badgered is just that much more manly. It brings home the professional look of the suit, that it is for the man under pressure. The colors look great on him.
It makes me wonder about the fact that I see more of these colored ensembles on Asian men—if it’s a matter of complimenting skin-tone. I rarely like the same looks on Caucasian men. Not to generalize too much, it’s just a point to ponder…
