Mm, very nice. The desaturated filter still keeps the detail on the jacket here beautifully sharp. Even Yunho’s face is blurry next to it…
Of course, sexy necklace on the collarbone is kind of the object of gaze here. I have no problem with that…

To be honest, I rarely blog the TVXQ boys (as opposed to the JYJ boys) because they don’t really appeal to me…except in the rare every-day-in-shirtsleeves sort of pictorial.

Like this one.

The other one I’ve blogged was that smoking hotel-room series.

Stripped-down (uh, literally, hah) and minimalistic really works for these two.

In this photo, Changmin strikes a certain resemblance to Blue Lan. (Which, in my book, is a huge compliment, by the way.)
He often looks a little too composed in whatever modelling stance he’s taking, but in this case, he seems just enough distracted by skateboard and lolly to be natural, yet dynamic.
The striking lighting on a striking combo of jacket, no shirt, wide-fitted trousers also help. Boy has nice cheekbones.
I’m not even sure what I love about this photo—I didn’t even realize until I went to reblog it on my not-suit blog that he’s in a jacket, so maybe it’s subliminal.
The photo seems genuinely candid. The outfit is off-kilter, but has a certain logic. (Though if he’s going to wear that hat, I may die.)
And that water looks so sweet and cold…
Gah, I love the detail of the jacket hanging in the background. Since he’s wearing a necklace, and the open collar exposes a singlet, it could be a suit-free look—but it’s there.
Observing what kinds of jewelry go well with these looks may just be my next thing… Like with Daniel Henney’s look, the almost talisman-like pendant on a chain is kind of a naturalistic touch to the formality of the suit-piece lines.
This .gif seems to know what I want to be looking at… I LOVE the sets of buttons on this coat. Sequining the cropped collar is cheeky, but I love the asymmetry at play in the lapel.
BUT WHAT ABOUT HIS PANTS?
…I’m sure a little research would turn up the actual performance, I’d recognize this jacket anywhere, now I’ve given it a hot once-over 50 times (thank you, dementedly repeating .gif images) but I am actually a bit lazy. Besides—no pants could be as awesome as this jacket.
:instant reblog:
Please forgive me for being a bit DBSK/JYJ heavy lately. [glares at dashboard]
Classic school uniform look, but with an exaggerated crest for a little rock-n-roll. Love the scarf’s school-tie look as an accent.
I think it’s interesting that both JYJ and DBSK post-split have gone with a very professional-man persona, modeling suits and metro fashions. It may be their age-bracket, but it also seems a deliberate move to present themselves as adults, with agency.
Junsu looks a little babyfaced without his brother to contrast with. The silky, fold-accented blouse gives it a fashion-forward look to play against the sobriety of the colors and composition, where I’m not sure he could pull off a more straight-laced look.
Love the bright colors here, and love the layering of polo under button-up. A color few men of non-Asian lineage could pull off, and few women, either, but the overall concept is easy to take off running with…

Dear AsianBeautyAddict, I don’t know where you find this stuff, but it’s ridiculous. I want to reblog everything, because it’s all perfect. But then…wherefore THIS blog?

Anyway, love how the hotel room they’re using is just the kind you might have in a cleaner motel—close quarters, plastic folding blinds and in-window air conditioners as the accents. Much easier to pretend you’re in the room just a step away.

The dark tones aren’t particularly inventive, but I like the simplicity of it. And I hope cobalt-lowlighted blue gets more common, because that color is awesome…

More from W Magazine…

There is nothing not to love here.

I have so many screencaps of random shots in which suits look particularly good. It is sort of sick. Also, the skinny ones look good in the lighter colors, I should pay attention to body style and the best looks that way…
