Uh, in case you forgot about that crush you weren’t supposed to have,
here is Yeo Jin-Gu!
This is a Wonderland -weird suit, and that makes it perfect for such a young fella, too handsome to just give a kiddo version.
(Also, W Korea, my forever favorite, I owe you one yet again…)
I have this feeling that this is in dreadfully poor taste (weird deshabille tied-up hair, velvet suit) and yet… Cha Seung-Won.
He’s like a force of heat that can be ridiculous and yet never lessened.
Plus, it’s nice to see some people taking risks with their hair. Besides k-pop boy bands just following trends. You know, mature men. In suits.

W Magazine, once again taking people I already like, and dressing up my crush so I feel even more strongly about it!

Epik High here is sporting suit looks that range from the current trend of ridiculous couture, to the simple-is-best mix of tees, jackets, and maybe a little leather.

I love how this gets across both the playfulness and yet artistic staying power of this crew. Bravo!

W MAGAZINE, NOVEMBER 2012

THE INTERVIEW

(via lefthandedbluestocking)

I think my magazine crush on W has to do with the fact that they come up with these insane concepts…and make them work. This is a pictorial with “wounded” as the theme is bizarre.

And yet seamless.

Why wouldn’t So Ji-Sub be still finely arrayed, despite bandages and crutches? Of course he would. And just say yes to the comeback of caramel corduroy, powers of fashion. Just say yes…

truthsforme:

Super Junior for W Magazine. I love it!

Back up. Why is Shindong looking more svelte than I am in this photo? My world is crumbling…I mean, he’s always been actually handsomer than some of the other SuJu guys for me, but. but.
Okay, worldview issues aside, I think this is a great fusion-fashion look. They’re in slacks, Yesung and Ryeowook, while Sungmin is in patterned jeans, Shindong in — velour harem pants? Why does that even look okay it sounds *ridiculous*.
But it’s all a monochromatic, with blue tones and mainly solids in different shades. It’s lovely, and makes the fashion flourishes pop—the fact that they’re in sneakers with these pseudo-dressy remixes, and wearing big accessories.

My magazine-crush strikes again, with photos of my SuJu crush—looking strangely mature. Donghae has a puppy-vibe, but he *is* turning 26 this year. I’m not including the photo of him in only jeans, but it was, uh, ravishing.

I like the through-a-window obscuring of parts of each photo here. It sets it in a story—maybe this is the view of a secretary in the outer part of the office, watching the young tycoon’s turmoil.

The black-and-white ensemble seems mute, in the monochromatic scale, but the blouse is actually a trendy one—with color-tipped collar and a body in a contrasting color. Makes me think of the leather-accented jacket Kim Soo-Hyun modelled here lately…

I do so like traditional lines in formal wear. These take on a simplified look that doesn’t even look like clothes of fashion, just like costume, but I can see variants on these shapes looking well as part of an ensemble.
Tailored, mixed with other pieces.
Or you know, these two can just carry on letting us ogle their arms, just the way they are.
lefthandedbluestocking:

Onew looks like he’s wearing Luke’s Tatooine clothes sans sleeves.
And Minho is the padawan.

This shoot makes Hara look, in some of the pictures, kind of like someone else. Which is kind of amazing. She has a very signature look.

Love the range of denim here—it’s all about jeans wear creating a totally different vibe with a different garment. Now, most of them aren’t things women with a more normal body type could get away with? But, interesting all the same.

uh, so, the queue flaked out on me when I tried to change it. 5 posts in as many hours WAS a lot more. Forgive me?

Transformation. I literally didn’t think I was sure what person Park Shi-Hoo was, when it should have been so obvious. A mature actor is channeling a very different persona here, though, and that makes this shoot really pop.

The clothes themselves are dramatic, though not all a style I usually admire. That coat brings the drama, and the harem-inspired pants somehow…

work. I never thought I’d say these words, I tell you. Both man and outfits are ones I don’t expect to admire, but it looks hot. In a particularly chilly, dust-mote filtered sort of a way.

Sexy knits, and hot collars. Leather. Smoky light.

What more could one ask for?

Oh, maybe just to not feel threatened by the chemistry there…

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, T.O.P.!
