Good goodness me. I’ve been on the fence over the bubble-gum pink on GD, but his sheer presence in this crossover fashion shoot…

If only for that sheer shirt with the tattoo showing through, I am totally for it.

This bottom right shot, also, makes me think unholy Loli-loving thoughts.

…how do I even tag this, except as “relevant to my interests”?

quick newsflash: bts selca edition
First set-snap of the drama-to-be Bridal Mask!
And features a gorgeously old-school officer dress uniform on a pretty-eyed Joo-Won, which is enough to buzz it on MY blog.
Is there anything sharper than brilliantly clean white with gold and navy accents? The insignia is probably accurate to the 1930s of the drama, but it’s got just the right mix of edges and seal-like round shape to look regal.
Looking good, Joo-Won.

Be still my heart. Thank you, Cosmo, we fangirls will take it from here.

TOP’s almost outgrown the funky color of BigBang’s recent promotions, because just look at him. The gentleman’s a dandy.

(I know everyone who knows who TOP is has probably already seen this shoot. Let me continue to tell you about it.)

To be honest, my heart is completely stolen by that striped dressing-coat. What is that ridiculously long smoking jacket underneath? It’s ridiculous, and it is beautiful, somewhat sedate pinstripes on clothes shaped for high fashion only.

The stripe is the primary contrasting element in each of these photos: the shirt and jacket under that matching khaki three-piece, and the collar and shirt under the scarf in the door. Love that door. Love the old-apartment feel of all these sets, really—they smell like my own childhood in New England.

He’s wearing combat boots with some of these sharp ensembles. And it’s just right.

Not just hot black nails—they’re glitterblack nails.
Junsu is making that blonde up-do work, and though this recalls a favorite photo of TOP, probably there are no two k-pop stars so dissimilar. It works for both of them on totally different sides of the spectrum.
Click through to see allkpop.com’s collection of all the photos in this shoot! It features some fun grunge jeans and jackets of several kinds. Junsu is looking ridiculously good, but really, are we surprised anymore?
He looks broodingly serious, but this outfit is all play with types.

more denim shirt fashion…

more bohemian setting…

and more bad-boy-glamourbeing Yoo Ah-In.

Next, grow out his hair and do a gypsy theme, eh?

Now this is nice! Jang Geun-Suk has a slight frame and a youthful air, but he’s not a baby-face. This is a dandy’s look without being childish, despite the bright colors.

TBH, I almost can’t wait to see him as an ajussi character actor, but don’t tell the teen fangirls that.
The crumple of the sleeve at the wrist, just below the cuff of the jacket, just gets me for some reason. I love sleeves that come over the hand, and jeans that get folds at the ankles, and the dynamic of pliant knit under clear-lined sport-coat is great.
Oh, and he’s holding a cane. I still love that Lucius Malfoy struts around with one, even though I myself call it a pimp cane, and think I will never be over it.
…which makes me think of someone else I can showcase in here…
Hyun Bin sure can be impressive when he wants…
The effect of the collar on this, in this shoot, reminds me of Goo Jun-Pyo in BoF—it has a regal, mantling effect in the width and height.
That may be why dressing scenes are so much more effective with jackets, be they leather or sport coats. It’s putting on a mantle of power, somehow.
Or I may be reading too much into it…
