I’m assuming these two photos I found at different times are from the same shoot—they have a shared color-treatment and a woods-bivouac theme unusual enough to be consistent.

Min-hyuk’s sweater looks old fashioned, as do both of their boots, but that’s just part of the appeal. A fusion of dress clothes and vintage touches. A grounding, instead of a slick chic.

Which kind of crystallizes what I’ve been noticing about fashion—for about ten years it was about shine, sharp lines. It’s gone over to texture and a sense of history. This may be the reason I care about fashion at all right now…

Minhyuk isn’t look his best at this angle, but the light colored jacket really pops. It’s a good look for a very youthful star, both classy and not trying too hard.

Red Carpet snapshot edition of the Candids series…

I am really surprised there is not more hubbub over the hot Mane of Glory Jungshin is sporting there. I still want to adopt him, but he’s looking a little manly.

These are all pretty straight-up tux formals: Siwon’s has eye-catching contrast edging, and since he’s at a fashion event, quite in line. Yoochun’s is beautifully tailored, and getting a shot of him messing with the button is great—hands! cuffs! and the C.N. Boys are quite awesome in matching simplicity. Unbuttoned, striking tie of black. Color me starstruck.

C.N. Blue’s indie-vibe is both too polished and lacking weight for me, usually, though I appreciate them in a general way. I have a bit of a thing for Lee Jung-Shin, though.
While Jung Young-Hwa has a trendy, dandy taste, and I don’t know much about the other guys…I have a feeling Jung-Shin-chingoo wears what people give him. There’s a sort of lack of concern that helps him carry off the kind of classic look that draws out the portrait-of-a-warrior beauty of his features.
I may sound a little effusive, but he has the kind of features I find are under-appreciated. And I love his updos that have a kind of martial look that go with them.
