I purloined these photos from DramaBeans’ hilarious post on unexpectedly excellent hair on Yoochun and Seung-Gi, and you should go read it (partly because Gu Family Book sounds spectacular, and their post is completely relative to the photos of his mane of glory, the kind of blogging I love!)

It is weird how a grown-out buzzcut seems to be Yoochun’s best look. He looked adorable in a long manhwa model haircut back in TVXQ, but this is really one of the few cuts that makes him look utterly masculine in the way he is, instead of making him up as a k-pop product.

I’m really only in love with the leather-lapel trench coat and his top right navy suit, as far as the clothes go, but every photo is a good photo of HIM, so. Win some, lose some?

Mm, very nice. The desaturated filter still keeps the detail on the jacket here beautifully sharp. Even Yunho’s face is blurry next to it…
Of course, sexy necklace on the collarbone is kind of the object of gaze here. I have no problem with that…
Check—why does it work so well in the context of a suit, or under a sweater? It seems it would be too busy or loud a pattern to look so classic like this, but it really just snaps everything sharper.
Jaejoong is looking pretty college-heartbreaker-oppa here with his glasses and dress shoes, but pushed up sleeves.
It’s an unusual hairstyle for him (longer in early days, and more neatly cut lately) but it provides just the right note of casual here with the together outfit.
Recently voted in the top 3 for jeans-wearing celebrities, in Japan, and it’s easy to see why. Mainly, he’s so thin all the girls despair…
No, but also, he fuses casual jeans with blazers so the whole thing looks somewhat chic and upscale. Even paired with sneakers and a tee. There’s a controlled sense to it.
And those jeans look fantastic, I’m betting they’re as upscale as most of the suits we have. (Another reason for despair.)

Ahhh, Junsu. Ever more handsome. A little vogue drama never does him wrong, either, as the interesting cowl lines of the jacket lapel only draw him out. I mean, the French-country tones brick doesn’t hurt either, but that’s not a part of an outfit you can bring with you.

One thing I appreciate about Junsu’s style is his dedication to not wearing stupid shoes. He keeps it grounded with pop-appropriate boots and so on. He doesn’t have the build for that.

Skinny jean, yes. Skinny-toe shoe, no.

Maybe because my k-pop crush acclimated me to totally bizarre versions of it, I’m actually quite fond of the pastels of hair color in recent Korean fashion. Certainly was getting tired of everyone in the same mahogany brown colors…

Junsu’s cool expression kind of plays against type, with the playfully blue hair here, and the cuts of the jacket are classic but then skew costume (like the length shown in the upper right image). He’s got a good classic style that is suited to certain riffs off of the formal look.

The black shirt with a white collar is something I don’t think I’ve seen in such a dramatic iteration before.

Kind of odd background clutter makes this look like a snapshot, but if so—well, Jaejoong’s looking as good as ever, in a fashion-portrait sort of way.
Black tee under a thin dress jacket. Chic, not overdressed. And I love the slightly goofy expression, actually. I have a weakness for shoots where the models show true expressions, acting or just natural. This is maybe just the real version.
Sometimes I doubt the prettiness of that face, but this photo reveals that he also has pretty wrists. So okay, the petite beauty is at least natural. ;)
The collar on this is pretty (love white in asymmetry on a dark solid) but so is his eye makeup.
This is a kind of jittery gif, but it’s a behind-the-scenes feeling one, too, so…

Maybe a last hurrah for summer style—it’s uncommon enough to find anything obviously summery that’s still formal. And autumnal looks are already starting to look good to me, despite the 110+ heat here. (What can I say? My favorite season lends itself to my favorite style.)

Park Yoochun looking…like himself, really. A comfortable man of the world, and of the elite. Dressy, even in casual dress.

This shoot features a sweater, a button-up tee, ribbed henley pattern and a seersucker dress shirt. All my little-spotted pet styles in one stream of photography. Can I have the stylist’s number, please.

I tried several times to get good enough screepcaps of this scene to post, back in the day. Obviously, finding a gif-series was just that much sweeter.

Yourrrrr welcome.

(I love the closets like candy-stores montages in k-dramas like this. I was weirded out when I first saw the F4 scenes, but I am well over it now.)

Park YooChun

Lets see.
Water-transparent summer-blue dress shirt. White slacks. This picture is a cool splash of summer, with a look just asking to be shoved in the pool.
I mean, Yoochun is kind of looking like a tease here, and I don’t just mean that shirt, it’s like he’s taunting us with that vista of beautiful water and the fact that he’s so well-off he doesn’t care about bleaching out his clothes…
This is not a spring shoot, I don’t think, telling by the scarf and the longjohns (?) but it is fun. And the jacket seems a nice light-weight one.
Love the grey fabric with the black jeans.
But please tell me he’s not eating a whipped cream sandwich… Definitely an interesting non-glorified kitchen set!

really ridiculous how good those simple clothes look on his form

Not ridiculous—of course, I have a bias about suit-ensembles. And Jaejoong’s way of wearing clothes.
This is straight up his costuming for Protect the Boss, which worked great because it kept him in chic dark colors but also straight-up business pieces. The narrow belt isn’t trendy, it’s just what a man would wear with those pants and that shirt. Which is fantastic, because it looks so good, but it’s not drama-only clothes.
.gif treat!
I actually am hot for that plaid tie with this sweater and button-up. Even in black and white, its colors are so pretty…
Lovely light look for the spring! (I am so ready for new colors.)
Because they have been reading my blog, the shoot puts only Junsu Charming in a suit jacket, and the other two (three, if we count Min Hyorin) in sweaters. He also is sporting a shade of purple instead of the blue the others wear—oddly, because of trends with pastels in dress shirts, it looks a bit more dressy, too.
Jaejoong’s cardigan draws lines that only accentuate his ridiculously broad shoulders. Love the wooly gray against the camel brown—a warm/cool match up that’s striking. He’s the only one with a tie, too, taking a formal note that works for him.
Yoochun’s looking cozy, instead, despite the bowtie. He always looks better for a little rumpling—I think there’s something about his vibe that’s more tactile, playful. Having the collar peaking out from the sweater, and the tails not tucked in, is just that.
The J. brothers are great in strong lines, and cooler colors, and Yoochun’s just a bit warmer, but the general scheme of blues, gray, and caramel is excitingly light. GO SPRING!
