Been a while since I put together a Candid Style feature! …mainly because I’ve gravitated more toward finished photography, however tenuously related to the blog’s stated purpose.
However, this weekend is a madcap mess anyway! So I’ll post these that have been in my file forever.
TOP: Lee Min-Ho, who pulls off the less fitted traditional-robe costume like it’s what only the best and most stylish are doing. Though the whole point, I’m pretty sure, is to establish his character as a bit careless. Remind me why I haven’t watched the beginning of this show yet now it’s out? Oh yeah. The fifteen others I need to finish.
(I would love to include more traditional costume on this blog. It’s got a similar level of difficulty!)
LEFT: Lee Tae-Gon. I’m not sure what the golden standard of vest fit is (I have the Style Bible for Men out, I probably will know soon) but I personally love it when it’s kind of an over-jeans fit, a small space of shirt showing over the belt. On a fit man, that’s dead sexy.
RIGHT: Busker Busker! I love how their style as a kind of pop product is always broken up by the American guy involved. ^_^ The one on the rightmost side is going for ultra-stylish, with the deconstructed jeans, bow-bowtie and neat-fitting vest. In the middle we have a great median—red-hot tie, on black. Guitar: totally part of the outfit. The simplest black-on-white for sunglasses rockstar styling white man. They somehow all tie together, though, the way I’m sure their band does.
