The big patterned paper is genuine Victorian to give the edit to black and white a little more legitimacy. Kiera’s dress is more themed on period dresses than anything, and though less noticeable so is James’s suit. This makes it work as a trend-setting image, though—a retro look is coming in, and this establishes that through mood. Handsome people in handsome clothes. Though personally, I’d have liked Anne Hathaway here… She’ll be turning up in a bit, though.
