Zhang Xing, in winter styles that I just couldn’t pass up, even if out of season. Lovely cream-with-gray and black.
The cream cabled sweater with the pinstripe slacks and tweedy jacket particularly jumped out at me. It’s a feast of textures, and subtle color play that still pops.
The white coat over the gray sweater and black sweats has the same dynamic, though. Less subtle, but the black on ecru, cream is just a fun twist on the black and white classic. The layering of coats in this shoot was an interesting way to bring dimension to each combo.
As was the choice of photo-negative indigo leaves as the background. I just am not sure if I like that, or just find it easy to ignore and focus on the clothes…
